• Quick Service Restaurants – Fast food restaurants are expected to see a nice jump in numbers in 2010, of 3.2 percent over the course of the year. That translates to an increase in sales of over $200 billion dollars in the industry. Choosing some of the top restaurant franchises can see even higher returns.

• Business Services – The business services industry includes a number of businesses including employment, tax and payroll services, insurance companies, data processing, warehousing, storage, printing and other services that businesses need. This industry is forecast to see a 2.6% increase which translates to a 189.6 billion dollar increase.

• Retail Products and Services – While many retail stores have had a tough couple of years, things are looking up for 2010. The expected increase is 2.5% with a profit increase of $50.5 billion in what is often considered the easiest franchises to run.

• Table/Full Service Restaurants – The next category that is expected to grow this year in franchises for sale are the table/full service restaurants industry. The forecast increase in this industry will be 2.3% or $64 billion.

• Retail Food – Everyone has to eat and all homes need a certain amount of food in the pantry and refrigerator. This is the retail food market, grocery store offerings, and no matter how the economy is going this is an industry that is expected to hold steady and even see a 2.3 percent increase or an increase in the area of $67.5 billion dollars in 2010.
